Smart4Power won the Public Building Retrofit Award at the 4th Annual RetrofiTech UAE awards. RetrofitTech UAE Awards and Summit is an annual event that is sponsored by the Supreme Council of Energy and Etihad ESCO and this year’s event was held at the Roda Al Bustan Hotel in Dubai on the 9th and 10th of April 2018.

The project that was nominated and won the award was the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, 2000 Villas Lighting Replacement Project where a total of 118,000+ lamps were replaced with high energy efficient LEDs. The villas lighting energy consumption was reduced by 80% which means savings of 6.4M+ KWh per year. The total annual CO2 emission reduction for this project was 2,833+ Tons .This project was a massive success and new initiatives are already in the pipeline to enlarge the scope of energy conservation measures in the villas.
