Smart4power secures ESCO contract with Dubai Airports

Smart4power has signed an agreement with Etihad Energy Services Company (Etihad ESCO), a company owned by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), for the retrofitting of Terminals 1, 2 and 3 of Dubai International Airport (DXB). “The agreement supports the Dubai Side Management Strategy 2030 to reduce electricity and water demand by 30% by 2030.

The project will start in Q1 2018 and Smart4Power will guarantee the energy savings over a period of 7 years.

Smart4power wins Climate Control 2017 Award

Smart4power was awarded the Climate Control 2017 Award on 27th November 2018, for the Building Efficiency Retrofit Project of the Year. The prestigious award is often considered as the ‘Oscars’ of the HVAC industry, recognizing the leading players in the region. The event was held at the Roda Al Murooj Downtown Hotel, Dubai UAE .

Smart4power was recognized for the project signed with Innoventures Education group for the turn-key implementation of energy conservation measures at two schools (DIA & RWA). The actual annual savings, just above 1 million AED, exceeded by 20% the guaranteed savings and the school’s investment was paid back in only 1.7 years .It is expected Innooventures will achieve net savings of 7.3 million AED over the lifetime of the installed solutions.

The proposed solutions were mostly related to improving the HVAC system efficiency and were installed over a period of 3 months. Smart4Power has been controlling and monitoring the schools energy performance since then and reporting monthly the results to Innoventures management.

Smart4power provides Energy Audit Services to Oil & Gas Sector

Smart4power successfully completed ASHRAE Level II energy audit at Lamprell Energy Ltd. Facilities in Jebel Ali and Hamriyah Freezone Sharjah facilities as part of a long term energy services engagement.

Lamprell plc is based in the United Arab Emirates and specializes in oil rig construction business. It builds shallow-water drilling jackup rigs, liftboats, land rigs and carries out rig refurbishment.

The energy audit helped to identify nearly 4 million AED annual energy savings for the client.

Smart4power helps Hotel to reduce energy bill and district cooling fixed charges

The energy audit conducted by Smart4Power at Ramada JBR, Dubai, helped to identify nearly 1 million AED in annual energy savings with a payback below 3 years and allowed the client to surrender 10% of the District Cooling Fixed Charges immediately after the preparation of the detailed cooling load analysis. The District Cooling fixed charges accounted for 32% of total utility bill of the client.

Smart4power completes Etihad ESCO MBRHE Lighting replacement project in record time.

Smart4power successfully completed the handover of MBRE lighting replacement project in almost 6 months. Smart4power was able to demonstrate their project management and customer support expertise by delivering the project to the expectation of the major stakeholders.

The project was a DEWA initiative in collaboration with MBRE (Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment o replace conventional light bulbs with LED light in 2,000 villas located in Al Barsha, Al Warqa and Oud Metha and Al Khawaneej.

The installation of the LED bulbs will significantly cut energy consumption, and aid the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030 to slash energy consumption by 30% by 2030.
