Smart4Power and construction giant ALEC have developed a strategic framework whereby the companies will work jointly to deliver premium energy management solutions to the UAE and GCC. This framework intends to utilize the capabilities of the two companies to expand into Dubai’s emerging ESCO market and to explore new venues in energy efficiency and renewable energy. ALEC, launched in 1999 as part of Abu Dhabi-based Al Jaber Group, has contributed to numerous major construction projects in the region, including Dubai Marina Mall, Madinat Jumeirah, and Dubai International Airport. Smart4Power, launched in 2012, has helped shape energy efficiency in the UAE’s building sector, having worked on projects for diverse clients including Dubai Investments, Etisalat, Emirates ID, and Etihad ESCO.
