Smart4Power had been appointed to identify and implement energy conservation measures at Dubai International Academy (DIA) and Raffles World Academy (RWA). The proposed solutions were mostly related to improving the HVAC system efficiency and were installed over a period of 3 months. Smart4Power has been controlling and monitoring the schools energy performance since then and reporting monthly the results to Innoventures management. The actual annual savings (just above 1 million AED) has exceeded the minimum cost savings that S4P guaranteed (0.8 million AED) as part of the energy savings performance contract. At current performance, the schools investment will be paid back in only 1.7 years and it is expected they will achieve net savings of 7.3 million AED over the lifetime of the installed solutions.
