On April 15, 2015, Smart4Power hosted its first workshop focusing on key topics in energy efficiency at The Address Dubai Marina. The workshop, entitled “Investing in Energy Efficiency: Opportunities to Maximize ROI While Minimizing Risk”, featured case studies that highlighted various energy efficiency improvements in different building types and in-depth presentations on building automation and controls and ESCO project finance. Special guest presentations were given on the synergy of energy efficiency and solar by Enerwhere, Aircosaver by EPV, and carbon footprint by DEWA’s Dubai Carbon Centre of Excellence. Attendees represented a broad swath of organizations from the public and private side. The event was a great success and will be followed by another in Abu Dhabi this September.
