The article gave a glimpse of the regional energy efficiency industry, both the challenges and opportunities. One quote of note: “Energy tariffs and energy demand are on the rise. For private companies, this means shrinking profit margins. Meanwhile, in the public sector, budgets are being slashed in municipalities dependent on oil revenue (e.g., Abu Dhabi).
