The contract contemplates the investment, implementation and operation by Smart4Power of different energy conservation measures at the hospital under ESCO scheme. RAK Hospital will enjoy energy cost savings without any upfront payment and, in exchange, will share a percentage of the savings with Smart4Power during the duration of the contract. The project funding was channeled through Smart4Power-ALEC ESCO fund.
