Smart4Power appointed by RAK Hospitality to implement energy savings solution for cooling and heating of swimming pools in the Banyan Tree Al Wadi resort

In a detailed energy audit performed at the Banyan Tree Al Wadi resort a total of 12 energy conservation measures (ECM) had been identified that could provide savings to the hotel’s utility bills of more than 33% with an average payback of about 2.6 years. The hotel management have decided to implement some of the ECMs identified in the audit.  Smart4Power is currently installing 101 new swimming pool heat pump systems with full control over the hotel’s BMS system to replace the previously operational heating and cooling system for the individual swimming pools attached to the guest villas. The project implementation will be completed in the month of December to ensure that the client is able to enjoy the energy savings in the winter months where most of the consumption is taking place. The expected annual savings are AED 700k
